What is Black Ginger?
Black ginger is also known as 'Thai Ginseng', and by its scientific name, Kaempferia parviflora (KP), which is purple-black in color. Black Ginger is a traditional herb that grows in Southeast Asia, particularly in the mountainous regions of northern Thailand. Black ginger has been used traditionally for over 1000 years in Thailand for general health. It contains Bioflavonoid bioactive substances called Methoxyflavon which helps our body's cells to generate energy.
